Kenneth Lynn Robertson

Kenneth Lynn Robertson, 65, of Hixson, TN, formerly of Trenton, GA, went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. He was born on September 5, 1958 in Chattanooga, TN. Devoted father, papaw, husband, brother, friend, and so much more. Survivors include his loving wife, Vickie Robertson, as he said “she puts the color inside of my world”, two children who were his pride and joy, Linda Robertson (T.J.), Michael Robertson (Rikki), 2 bonus children; Candice Young (Darrell), Jared Lewis, 7 grandchildren & 2 bonus grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father William Edward; mother Mary Stanley, his siblings, Jim Robertson, Janice Ann Robertson; William Dale Robertson, and his step-father Robert Stanley. A soul so beautiful and a light so bright that words can’t even begin to describe. His love for Christ was seen in every aspect of his life. He was patient, he was kind, he was humble. A man who led by example and never gave up. He found joy in serving others. He sacrificed so much throughout the years, always putting himself last and never complained. His wisdom was worth more than gold. He overcame adversity with grace and with a smile on his face always. No matter what he was going through, he never let it bring him down. He always had uplifting words for each person he met and spoke with a genuine and gentle tone that could comfort like no other. His relationship with The Lord was beautiful. He prayed, he obeyed, he was pure of heart, he was never self-seeking, and no matter what task he was doing, big or small, he did it with love and with all that he had. He didn’t miss an opportunity to spend time with family, and took such pride in his children and grandchildren. Each were so very special to him and they knew it. For all the lives you touched, we thank you for giving to the Lord. And we know that you were greeted with “Well done my good and faithful servant.” And as he always said, “See you soon!” Because we will! Kenneth served his country in the U.S. Air Force obtaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. Online condolences may be shared at ryanfuneralhome.net. A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, November 7th at 12:30 p.m. in the Ryan Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bill Blanchard officiating. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 6th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour at Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Trenton, GA.
