Theresa Louise Gingras Lamb

Theresa Louise Gingras Lamb, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family at her Lookout Mountain, GA home. Born on September 16, 1942, in Washington, D.C., Theresa was the daughter of George and Mabel Gingras. She was predeceased by her parents and her siblings, William Gingras and Catherine Hall and her son, Francis Michael Lamb. She is survived by her beloved sister, Mary O’Keeffe. Theresa shared a remarkable life and love with her husband, David Bohan Lamb. The two first met as teenagers at a CYO dance in 1955 and were married on June 8, 1963, beginning a lifelong partnership rooted in devotion and deep affection. She is lovingly remembered by her husband, David; her children, Greg Lamb (Bunny), Brian Lamb (Alan Hogeboom), and Jennifer Lamb Kline (Will); and her cherished grandchildren, Heather Lamb O’Berry (Daniel), Davis Lamb, Brendan Lamb, Carolyn Kline, Ellie Kline, and Will Kline Jr., all of whom knew her lovingly as “Mimi.” Theresa attended Immaculata Preparatory School in Washington, D.C., and began her career as a flight attendant with American Airlines. After marrying and starting her family, she devoted herself fully to her role as a homemaker, creating a warm and loving home. She was a dedicated swim team mom for her children’s teams in Rockville, Maryland, and spent much of her free time playing backgammon and mahjong with her neighbors and friends. Later, she worked alongside her husband at his law firm, where she served as his administrative assistant and managed his office with care and dedication. Theresa will be remembered for her gentle spirit, genuine kindness, and the warmth she extended to everyone she met. She had a gift for making others feel welcome and loved, especially when hosting her many dinner parties—always impeccably dressed—where family and friends gathered with joy. She was also known for her famous chocolate chip cookies, a simple but lasting expression of her love. Above all, Theresa was a dedicated wife, a steadfast friend, and a deeply faithful and loving mother and grandmother. Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished and the countless lives she touched with her sincerity and grace. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Mount Catholic Church in Lookout Mountain, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Theresa’s memory to a charity of your choice. Arrangements are under the care of Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Trenton, GA.
