Beatrice "Bea" Nolen Lusk Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Beatrice “Bea” Nolen Lusk, 82 of Chattanooga went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 5, 2015 in a local healthcare facility surrounded by her family. She was retired from Dupont and TVA, She also worked with Estee Lauder at Dillards in Hamilton Place Mall for several years. Bea was a longtime Member of Silverdale Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Bea’s was loved by everyone that knew her and everyone always knew that she put God first place in her life and prayed daily for her family and friends Bea was preceded in death by her husband in William Milo Lusk; parents Chester Roland parker and Selma Tatum Parker; brother Clarence Parker and sister Doris Matthews. Survivors include her son James “Jim” Nolen and wife Jamie; daughter Sharon Smith and husband Rodney; step-children: Jeff Lusk, Linda Lusk and Laura(Terry)Newport; Bea was known as Grandmother to: Ryan and Hope Smith, Amberly and Bradley Smith, Justin and Andi Nolen, Chad Smith, Danielle Paige, Tyler Lusk, Julia Bergamaschi and Evan Newport; She was also known to her great grandchildren as GiGi to: Mabry Ann and Mason Mitchell Smith, Emery Reece Nolen; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Silverdale Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Dr. Kerry Smith and Rev. Cliff Hudson officiating. Burial will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Monday, December 7, 2015 at Silverdale Cumberland Presbyterian Church from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in Bea’s honor to Avalon Hospice or to Silverdale Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
