Donald E. Moreland, 82, of Trenton, Georgia, passed away Sunday evening November 24, 2019. He was a member and past elder of Magby Gap Church of Christ and was an owner/operator at Moreland Trucking. He was preceded in death by Jeff and Ida Smith Moreland, brothers Henry Moreland & Bill Moreland, and sisters, Jessie Moreland & Evelyn McNabb. Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Martha Tinker Moreland, Trenton, GA; Daughter, Donna (Ted) Walter, Trenton, GA.; Sons, Tim (Diann) Moreland, Trenton, GA; Randy (Reecie) Moreland, Trenton, GA. Eight grandchildren, Kiley Muston, Jamie Nelson, Ben Moreland, Bonnie Harris, Caroline Hurst, Kate Jackson, Nikki Shepperd, Marie Moreland; 17 great-grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Minister Ronnie Gilbert officiating. Interment will follow in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 11:00 am until the service hour at Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Trenton.
