Franklin Delano Bedwell

Franklin Delano Bedwell, 78, of Trenton, Ga. passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2019. He enjoyed collecting hats, watching the Braves, and being retired. He was a member of Circle of Faith Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Grace Bedwell; parents, William and Dorothy Bedwell; son, Larry Newman; and daughter, Roberta Newman Kirk. Survivors include his daughters, Angela (Ronnie) O’Shields of Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., Regina (Jim) Blalock of Gastonia, N.C., Margie (Glenn) Kay of Chickamauga, Ga., Esther (Leamon) McKinney, of Birmingham, Ala., and Robin (Steve) Patton of Trenton, Ga; son, James (Ginze) Newman of Harrison, Tenn.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1PM Tuesday September 10, 2019 in the chapel of Ryan Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Cantrell and Jackie Chambers officiating. Interment will follow in Hooker Cemetery. Family will receive friends 4 PM until 8 PM Monday and 11 AM until service time Tuesday at Ryan Funeral Home, Trenton, GA.
