John David Johnson Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

John D. Johnson, 82, of Rising Fawn, GA, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at his residence. Mr. Johnson was a member of the Rising Fawn United Methodist Church and was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force for over 20 years and was deployed to Vietnam in 1966-1967. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents, Bill & Dixie Johnson. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 59 years, Susan Johnson; son, David (Anita) Johnson; daughter, Donna (Tony) Baker; son, Dale Johnson; sister, Wanda Baker; grandchildren, John, Sydney, Alex, Emily, Breanne, Caitlyn, & Brett; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with honors provided by the U.S. Air Force. Rev. Will Garrett & Rev.
