Mrs. Wilson was a long-time educator with the Dade County School System, having earned a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Jacksonville State University and another Master’s degree in Library Science from the University of Alabama. She was a proud member of the Dade County Retired Teachers Association, of which she served as president for four years. Brad Scott officiating. Interment will be June 15, 2020, at Marietta National Cemetery, site of her husband’s grave. The family wishes to thank Edna McBryar, Vicky Townson, Delilah Casey, Amber Cave and other caretakers for the love and companionship they provided for our Mom/Nairn. You made her feel loved and safe as you cared for her physical and emotional well-being. For that gift, we will be forever grateful. The family also wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at the Rosewood Assisted Living facility for their care and compassion in her final days. In lieu of flowers, please send a memorial gift to Trenton United Methodist Church Children’s Ministry, PO Box 6, Trenton, GA 30752. Expressions of sympathy may be shared at ryanfuneralhome.net.
