Marilyn Gayle Christopher

August 28, 1937 - February 21, 2022

Marilyn Gayle Christopher, 84, of Trenton, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022 at her residence, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Christopher was retired from the Dade County School System following 30 years of service and was a member of the Hooker Church of Christ. A loving wife, mama, and nanny to her grandson, Christopher, and her “grandkittens” Tiger & Sweetie, she was an avid reader and never had enough books on hand. Marilyn loved her “search-a-word” puzzles, enjoyed her “ball games” and ESPN was her channel of choice. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis O. Christopher, & parents, Baxter & Nancy Lee Clark. Left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Vicky (Lloyd) Abercrombie of Ringgold, & DeDe (Jim) Humphrey of Wildwood, GA; grandson, Christopher Williams of Ringgold, GA; several cousins, nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 26th at 1:00 p.m. in the Ryan Funeral Home chapel with Frank Parker, Johnny Holman, & Steve Holloway officiating.
