Robert William "Bob" Rucker

Robert William “Bob” Rucker, 73, of Wildwood, GA, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at his residence. Bob was born on June 2, 1948 in Nashville, TN to the late B.F. “Bud” Rucker, Jr., & Corretta Canter Rucker. He was a graduate of Glencliff High School in Nashville and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Bob was employed as an engineer with CSX Transportation for 37 years and held memberships with the John B. Garrett Masonic Lodge #711, the Al Menah Shrine Temple and the Scottish Rite. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Rucker. Survivors include his wife, Betty Rucker; daughters, Bobbette (Jason) Vaughn, Cumberland Furnace, TN, & Jaylynn Banks, Coralville, IA; brothers, Terry (Kathleen) Rucker, & Mark Rucker, all of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Willow, Rain, Stone, Forrest, Richard, Nick, Shelby, & Kody; step-son, Bryan (Tracy) Contorno, Trenton, GA; granddaughters, Laura (Thomas) Contorno Smith, Lookout Mountain, GA, & Emily Contorno, Atlanta, GA; great-granddaughter, Anniston Smith.
