Ronald Glenn Cooper, Sr., 72, of Lookout Valley, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022. Mr. Cooper was a native and lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and a veteran of the U.S. Army where he was the recipient of many commendations, including the Bronze Star medal. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #673 F&AM, a graduate of Edmonson School of Business, and was retired from Walter A. Wood Supply as a tool technician. His parents, Robert Cooper & Clovilla Griffin Lee, son, David Allen Cooper, brothers, Robert & Gary Cooper, and sister, Judy Walker, preceded him in death. Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Mildred Cooper; sons, Glenn, Steven (Laura), & Matt Cooper; aunt, Sharon Culpepper; several nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment with full military honors will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Hills Cemetery in Chattanooga. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 2nd from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Trenton, GA.
