Shirley Ann Hill

Shirley Ann Hill,78, of Trenton, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020. Shirley was a 1960 graduate of Dade County High School and Edmonson Business College. She retired after many years of service from the University of Georgia Extension Service and was a member of the Hooker Church of Christ. Shirley was a former officer in the Dade Band Boosters, a charter member and former president of the ABWA, a charter member of the Dade Cruisers and a former officer in the Teachers Retirement System of Georgia. She enjoyed talking about her grandchildren, traveling, going to the beach, fishing, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth & Mary Blevins Cureton. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Burrell Hill; son, Jim (Lori) Hill; grandchildren, Paige & Alex Hill; sister, Debbie Cureton; many other extended family & friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ryan Funeral Home with Ministers Milton Stephens & Johnny Holman officiating. Burial will follow in Lake Hills Memorial Garden with Alex Hill, Chuck Keef, Bandon Keef, Stephen Pell, Robin Rogers, & Chase Cannon serving as pallbearers.
