T.J. Blevins The world lost Terry John “T.J.” Blevins on Friday, January 15th, 2016. I say “world” because the pain from his death was felt across the globe. From Germany to South Korea to California through Iowa and down into Florida, tears were shed for this beautiful soul. T.J. was brilliant, hilarious, sweet, caring and could often drive you crazy. He was an incredible musician and about as athletic as styrofoam. Most of all, he was loved. He was loved more in twenty-two years than most people are in a century. That love will continue for many more generations. He was preceded in death on his mother’s side by his great grandparents, John and Elsie Clark, and on his father’s side by his grandfather, James Giddens. Surviving family members include his father Terry Ray Blevins; mother and stepfather, Jennifer and Dean Litsch; maternal grandparents Tommy and Angela Lane; maternal grandfather Jodie Foster; paternal grandmother Nancy Giddens; aunts Deborah Cha Blevins and Andrea Lane; uncles Don Callicutt and Thomas Lane. While T.J. may have not had the traditional religious beliefs that many of us do, he was spiritual. I believe that he is somewhere good. Wherever he is, I believe the music is amazing and that he is happy. I also believe that he is finally at peace.
